This page explains how we research, write, and maintain the rankings and guides on Tops10Coupon.
Independence
Our editorial team decides what goes on a ranking and where it ranks. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine placement — see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full detail on how we’re compensated.
How we research
- We check each vendor’s own pricing and offer pages directly rather than relying on secondhand listings.
- We test coupon codes where practical, and note when a code hasn’t been independently re-verified recently.
- We compare like-for-like: plan tiers, trial terms, renewal pricing, and any conditions attached to a discount.
What “verified” means on this site
A “Verified” label means we confirmed the offer or code was working as of the last-checked date shown on the page. It is not a guarantee the offer will still be active when you visit — deals expire, and we update pages as we catch that, but we rely on the last-checked date being read alongside the label.
Updates and corrections
Rankings are revisited on an ongoing basis, not published once and left alone. When a vendor changes pricing, discontinues an offer, or a coupon stops working, we update the page and note the change. Reader-reported issues are reviewed and, where confirmed, corrected.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish fabricated reviews, invented ratings, or fake usage statistics. We don’t accept payment for a higher ranking. We don’t use countdown timers or “X left in stock” messaging that isn’t real.
